I have just completed the 1st part of your Sensory Soundness Mapping the Senses Course and intend to read it again, and again, and likely again and slowly work through my thoughts, writing down my ideas in answer to the questions at the end. I pay for this course in South African Rands so the conversion, owing to our poor currency, makes it pricey and we all know people who have horses, tend to have little money left at the end of every month of paying the bills ;-) so as I started to read, I started to wonder if this was going to "be worth the money spent" (have spent considerable amounts on courses and seminars in the past and been disappointed) but as I got further in, I started to think, "yes", I am learning and then I hit Part 6 and it was an absolute " lightbulb moment" of understanding how certain situations which for us are deemed "nothing", can become overwhelming for a horse.
I am going to start these exercises of walk, jogging and rough terrain so I can immerse myself into fully understanding just how difficult processing can become.
I cannot wait to continue on this journey with you.
Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.
